Clémence is a geographer who works on Socio-Environmental Systems using Geospatial tools. She developed Geospatial solutions for the #WellConnectedNZ project.
She holds a PhD in remote sensing and modelling of agricultural practices in the Brittany region (France). Clémence also completed a Postdoc on mapping and modelling of Ecosystem Services in the French Alps.
Recently, she worked for the French Space Agency in a role looking at the effect of landscape on pesticide drifts in the Waipara wine region (New Zealand) to promote nature-based solutions to better protect residential populations against drift exposures.
She also taught geography at the University of Rennes (France), University of Paris-Sorbonne (France) and the University of Canterbury (New Zealand).
